🕵🏾Unfriended by Truth: When Reality Doesn’t Fit the Narrative
Truth doesn’t trend — and that's exactly why we need it more than ever.
You don’t have to be a scholar to notice: telling the truth in today’s world feels more like a social offense than a moral duty. One wrong word, one unpopular fact, one inconvenient truth — and suddenly, you’re unfriended, unfollowed, or quietly silenced by the algorithm gods. We live in a time where truth has become negotiable, customizable, and only welcome if it confirms someone’s comfort zone. What once anchored civilizations is now seen as an opinion, an inconvenience, or worst of all — a threat. But what happens when an entire generation trades truth for applause, and reality for narrative? Who wins… and what do we all lose?
🔍What Is Truth, Really?
Truth used to be something we searched for. Now it’s something people scroll past — unless it flatters their bias or justifies their desires. But before we can unpack why truth has become so disposable, we need to clarify: what is truth, really?
Is it factual accuracy? Spiritual alignment? Moral integrity?
Or has it been demoted to “whatever feels right to me in the moment”?
In the ancient sense — especially from a biblical and spiritual lens — truth is not just information, it’s illumination. It's a divine mirror that reveals not just what is, but what should be. When Yeshua (Jesus) said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” He wasn’t offering an opinion — He was establishing that truth is inseparable from divine order and eternal principles.
Contrast that with today's culture, where people casually say things like,
“That’s my truth.”
A phrase that sounds empowering… until two opposing “truths” collide and no one’s left accountable.
In a world seduced by relativism and governed by feelings, truth has been stripped of its absoluteness and reduced to emotional currency. But real truth — the kind that heals, convicts, and liberates — is not subject to mood swings or market trends. It doesn’t change just because our tastes, politics, or appetites do.
So if truth is this sacred, why is it treated like a liability in today’s society?
💰Truth as an Asset
In a society where lies are mass-produced and illusions are curated to perfection, truth may seem like a poor investment. But for those with spiritual eyes and eternal vision, truth is the most priceless asset you can possess.
Truth clarifies.
Truth protects.
Truth liberates — even when it hurts.
When you build your life on truth, you're not chasing trends — you're standing on a foundation that doesn't move. It anchors your identity, strengthens your discernment, and keeps your soul aligned with the Creator's will. As Scripture says:
“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
But that freedom doesn’t come without friction.
Because truth doesn’t flatter egos — it humbles them.
It doesn’t enable dysfunction — it exposes it.
And that’s exactly why it’s become so rare.
Still, the long-term return on investing in truth is unmatched. It builds trust, sharpens purpose, and unlocks clarity in a confused world. Whether it’s in your relationships, your faith, or your calling, choosing truth — over convenience, over popularity, over comfort — leads to divine alignment. It invites heaven’s favor even when the world withholds its applause.
In this sense, truth isn’t just an asset — it’s a spiritual inheritance. But tragically, many are selling it cheap.
💼Truth as a Commodity
Once sacred, truth is now up for auction.
It’s no longer about what’s real — it’s about what sells.
What trends.
What fits into a 15-second reel, a digestible quote, or a marketable cause.
Truth has been commodified. Rebranded. Monetized.
Social media platforms don’t reward truth — they reward engagement.
Algorithms aren’t interested in righteousness — they’re interested in retention.
Even so-called “truth movements” often peddle fear, gossip, or half-revealed mysteries as spiritual clickbait.
The result? We’ve got curated truth. Filtered truth. Influencer truth.
Not the sword that divides, but the syrup that sedates.
And let’s be honest — many people only value the truth when it benefits their business, boosts their image, or justifies their lifestyle. But truth isn't a product to consume; it’s a standard to live by. When we turn it into merchandise, we rob it of its divine weight. We strip it of its cost. And truth without cost… is just another opinion with branding.
Meanwhile, the real truth — the kind that changes lives and shifts destinies — gets buried under monetized noise.
So the question is:
Are you consuming truth for the aesthetic, or embodying it for the awakening?
Because truth can't just live in the post — it has to live in the person.
⚠️Truth as a Liability
Let’s not pretend: truth has a cost.
And in today’s world, telling it can get you unfriended, unemployed, uninvited — or worse, unheard.
Truth is no longer just controversial — it’s dangerous.
Because it threatens systems. It confronts comfort.
And it refuses to bow to the idols of modern convenience, carnal appetites, or cultural consensus.
Speaking truth might cost you your job.
Standing for truth might lose you your relationship.
Living in truth might mean walking alone.
That’s why so many play it safe.
They don’t hate the truth — they just avoid it.
They shrink it. Edit it. Silence it.
Not because they’re evil… but because they’re afraid of becoming the villain in someone else’s story.
But here’s the paradox:
Truth may isolate you from the world, but it reconciles you with your soul.
And in that tension, you learn — truth is not for the faint-hearted. It’s for the faithful. The ones who’d rather be aligned with the Most High than adored by the masses. The ones who understand that comfort is a short-term gain, but compromise is an eternal loss.
So yes — in a world built on image, influence, and indulgence…
Truth is a liability.
But only to those who are more invested in the world’s approval than Heaven’s reward.
😶The Rise of Benign Neglect
Not everyone burns truth at the stake.
Most just leave it on read.
They nod. Smile. Say “that’s deep.”
Then go right back to scrolling, shopping, sipping, or sinning.
Not because they’re against truth — but because they’ve been conditioned to treat it like background noise.
This is what we call benign neglect.
A slow, polite death of truth… by silence.
No protests.
No pushback.
Just a shrug and a scroll.
People aren't out here screaming “I hate the truth!”
Instead, they say things like:
“I’ll look into it later.”
“Everyone has their own journey.”
“Let people live their life.”
On the surface, it sounds peaceful. Tolerant. Mature.
But under the hood, it’s spiritual apathy wearing a hoodie of acceptance.
This is how truth dies in a generation.
Not with rage — but with disinterest.
Not with confrontation — but with convenience.
And here’s the danger:
What we ignore, we empower.
What we neglect doesn’t disappear — it multiplies in the shadows, waiting to devour the next generation.
We are now living with the consequences of quiet cowardice.
Where the masses say nothing… and the remnant is left shouting into the void.
So ask yourself:
When was the last time I defended truth that didn’t benefit me personally?
When did I last honor truth that made me uncomfortable?
Because our silence isn’t neutral. It’s alignment — with either light or shadow.
🔥What Happens When Truth Is No Longer Valued
When truth becomes optional, everything else becomes negotiable.
Morality?
Redefined.
Justice?
For sale.
Faith?
Filtered for mass appeal.
Love?
Confused with tolerance.
And leadership?
Replaced by popularity contests.
When truth is no longer the foundation, deception becomes the architecture.
And entire societies begin to rot from the inside out.
We see it now in real time:
Families divided not by love, but by lifestyle choices wrapped in lies.
Churches more interested in filling seats than filling souls.
Governments gaslighting the people they claim to serve.
Schools teaching kids to “be their own truth” before they’ve learned how to spell it.
This is what happens when truth is dismissed as “too harsh,” “too outdated,” or “too offensive.”
We replace it with consensus over conviction.
With optics over obedience.
And the result?
A world that celebrates confusion while quietly suffering from it.
But perhaps the most heartbreaking consequence is this:
Even the “good ones” stay quiet.
The ones who know better.
Who sense the shift.
Who’ve tasted truth — but choose silence over sacrifice.
They don’t want to rock the boat, so they stay seated while the ship sinks.
But silence is not harmless.
In the face of deception, silence is agreement.
And in spiritual warfare, neutrality is surrender.
🛠️Rebuilding a Life (and Society) Where Truth Is Sacred Again
Truth doesn’t need to be rebranded — it needs to be revered.
It’s not outdated — it’s been outnumbered.
But it only takes one voice, one soul, one uncompromising life to begin the rebuild.
If we want a life that doesn’t collapse under pressure…
If we want families that walk in unity, not just appearance…
If we want a world that’s actually whole, not just edited to look that way…
Then truth must be restored to its rightful place: as sacred.
And it starts personally, not politically.
🌱 1. Live it first — even if no one claps.
Truth has to be embodied, not just reposted. Let your life preach louder than your quotes.
Be okay being misunderstood. Because Heaven understands perfectly.
📖 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” — James 1:22
📖 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
🗣️ 2. Speak it — especially when it costs you.
Truth without courage is just information.
Even if your voice trembles, say it anyway.
Say it in love. Say it in wisdom. But say it.
📖 “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet…” — Isaiah 58:1
📖 “Have I now become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” — Galatians 4:16
🧭 3. Discern between divine truth and curated trends.
Not everything labeled “truth” is holy.
Return to the Source — the Word, the Spirit, the ancient path.
Let divine alignment be your GPS — not Google, not gurus, not groupthink.
📖 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” — Proverbs 14:12
📖 “Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth.” — John 17:17
🙌🏾 4. Honor truth when it corrects you, not just when it confirms you.
If truth only feels good, it’s not truth — it’s a tailored echo.
The kind of truth that transforms will first confront you.
📖 “For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father the son in whom he delights.” — Proverbs 3:12
📖 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” — 2 Timothy 3:16
👣 5. Teach your children — or the culture will.
In a world raising digital disciples, raise truth-tellers.
Let your home be a sanctuary of clarity, not confusion.
📖 “These words, which I command you today, shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” — Deuteronomy 6:6–7
📖 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
Conclusion: Truth Is the Only Foundation That Doesn’t Crumble
When the lights go off, the trends fade, and the crowd moves on…
All that’s left is what was true all along.
Not what was popular.
Not what made you money.
Not what kept the peace.
But what stood when everything else cracked under pressure.
Because truth is the only foundation that doesn’t crumble.
It won’t coddle your ego.
It won’t flatter your flesh.
But it will anchor your soul.
And in a world full of shifting values, synthetic virtue, and temporary truths, that anchor is everything.
So we end with this simple but eternal question:
What are you building your life on?
Applause or alignment?
Trends or truth?
The sand… or the Rock?
In the end, you won’t be judged by how many people agreed with you.
You’ll be judged by how well you aligned with the truth — even when it cost you.
Choose truth.
Even if it isolates you.
Even if it convicts you.
Even if it breaks you first — because it will build you back stronger, purer, and more free.
Because truth isn’t just information.
Truth is a person. A way. A life.
And if you follow it — truly follow it —
you’ll never be lost again.
🌍 Truth as Law: Sacred, Universal, and Non-Negotiable
At the highest level, truth isn’t just moral — it’s universal. It’s not relative to culture, comfort, or popular vote. It’s anchored in the Creator’s eternal Law — a Law that governs both the spiritual and natural order.
📖 “Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is the truth.”
— Psalm 119:142
This verse doesn’t leave room for negotiation. The law of the Most High is truth. Not a version of truth. Not a cultural interpretation of it. It is truth.
So when we discard the law, ignore it, or water it down to fit modern lifestyles, we’re not just ignoring “religion” — we’re rejecting truth at its core. And Scripture makes it clear that such rejection has consequences:
📖 “He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.”
— Proverbs 28:9
Let that sink in: even prayer is considered defiled if it comes from someone who intentionally turns away from divine truth. That’s how sacred and non-negotiable truth is to the Most High.
These aren't “Old Testament” side notes — they are eternal principles that transcend time. They define what real alignment looks like. They show us that truth is not just about being honest or kind — it's about being in covenant with divine order.

🕊️ Living Truth with Your Whole Life — Including Your Plate
If truth is defined by the Creator’s Law (Psalm 119:142), then we can’t ignore the very first law given to humanity — the divine instruction about what to eat:
📖 “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”
— Genesis 1:29
This wasn’t just a dietary suggestion. It was a spiritual alignment with life, peace, and the natural order. A covenant between creation and Creator. But over time, through deception, desperation, and religious corruption, we traded this living truth for flesh — and in doing so, inherited disease, spiritual dullness, and disconnection from the Source.
📖 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” — Hosea 4:6
Most believers today don’t question how their daily habits — including what they eat — may be in conflict with the Most High’s original intent. But truth doesn’t just speak to our beliefs — it shows up on our plates, in our bodies, and in the vibration of our spirit.
If you’ve never heard this before or want to go deeper, we invite you to explore our eye-opening blog:
👉🏾 🔗 From Plants to Flesh: Uncovering the Truth About God's Original Diet and the Corruption That Followed
This blog pulls back the veil on how divine dietary law was ignored, corrupted, and replaced with appetites that dull the spirit and block true communion.
And for those ready to go beyond blogs and taste the full spiritual truth…
📘 Read our book: Meat-Eaters and Their Fate: Why Carnal Appetites Block Heaven’s Gates
In this soul-stirring guide, we reveal the ancient teachings, suppressed scriptures, and sacred spiritual science that expose why a flesh-based diet isn’t just harmful to the body — but is a direct barrier to the soul’s ascension.
This isn’t about food preferences. It’s about spiritual positioning.
From Genesis 1:29 to the teachings of the Nazarenes, we trace how the Most High’s original dietary law was designed as a gateway to holiness, purity, and divine connection.
But when humanity chose blood over life, appetite over alignment, and flesh over fruit — we didn’t just corrupt the body.
We clouded the soul.
And in doing so, many unknowingly locked themselves out of spiritual elevation — unable to hear, feel, or walk in step with the Most High.
Carnal appetites anchor the soul to the lower realms — making ascension impossible.
To enter the gate, the spirit must be clean. The hands free of blood. The body in harmony with Heaven’s law.
This book is not theory — it is confirmation.
It draws upon dozens of ancient sources, including the Gospel of the Nazarenes, the Clementine Homilies, early Essene writings, and long-hidden scriptures that modern religion ignores or suppresses. Plus more! These voices, preserved through time, bear witness to a sacred path of alignment that few dare to walk — but all are invited to.
If your heart is stirring — don’t ignore it.
The truth about salvation and ascension goes deeper than most are willing to go — but for those who seek, it shall be revealed.
